About this spot

The only major wreck dive in Anilao — a former floating casino barge from the 1980s, now an open steel lattice framework encrusted in coral on a sloped seabed (upper end 13m, lower end 28m). Resident school of batfish is always present. Also pipefish, trumpetfish, reef fish, occasional barracuda, squid, and mandarin fish nesting grounds nearby. Slopes are easy to navigate.

Wreck site between Maricaban and Caban islands. 'Dari' was the owner/founder; 'Laut' is Malay/Indonesian for 'sea' — so 'Dari at sea / out in the sea'. Sank in the 1980s. About 16 minutes by boat south from central resorts.
