About this spot

Shallow reef with coral gardens, sea fans, parrotfish, sea snakes, and turtles. Small caverns and swim-throughs for adventurous divers. Ligpo Pinnacle is a great wall dive at 12–35m. The Ligpo Cross is a known underwater landmark. Favored by dive schools as a training ground for new divers due to gentle currents.

Location & access notes

Small island off Bauan town, north of the Mabini peninsula (technically in Bauan municipality, not Mabini). Protected by the Bauan Marine Sanctuary. Ligpo Pinnacle is a 12–35m wall reached in ~20 minutes by boat from Anilao Pier. The shallow reef areas on the leeward side are where training happens — the pinnacle is scuba-grade depth.
